Ad placements based on ad size

    Hi! I am trying to figure out the best approach here, having a hard time wrapping my brain around it. Here is my setup:

    Advertiser A has multiple campaigns. Campaign 1, Campaign 2, etc. Each campaign has 3 different ad sizes: 160×600, 300×250 and 728×90.

    On my website, I have a specific place for ad sizes 160×600, 300×250 and 728×90. I don’t want different sizes in those spaces, just those specific sizes that rotate between the different advertisers campaigns.

    What is the best possible setup for this?

    Hi @lrkosko,

    The best setup would be to use three placements (one for each position you have for a specific size) and three random ad groups (one ad group for each ad size).

    For example:

    • one group for 160×600
    • one group for 300×250
    • one group for 728×90

    Then, add all ads of the matching size from the different campaigns into the corresponding group, and assign each group to its matching placement on your site.

    This way, each placement will only show the correct ad size, while the ads rotate randomly within that group.
