Hi, I installed your plugin in the basic version, I added a field to enter the tax code because it was missing from the current payment cart. I didn’t understand one thing, what should I do to replace the customer data entry form when purchasing? Currently I still see the form without the tax code field. Can you explain to me how it works? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @userweb

Please check in the WordPress admin panel whether the shortcode [woocommerce_checkout] is present on the checkout page. This is required for the standard checkout module to function correctly.

However, if you are using the block-based WooCommerce checkout module, the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode will not work. In this case, a different plugin specifically designed for WooCommerce blocks is needed.

I currently already have a form where customers enter their data during the purchase, does your plugin then generate a shortcode that I have to replace on the checkout page?

    Hi @userweb

Our plugin works with that classic WooCommerce shortcode I mentioned in the last message. Plug-ins do not generate their own shortcodes.

Could you confirm that in your checkout page there is [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode appllied?

Hi, on the page that is simply called “Checkout” this shortcode is applied [profilepress-checkout]

It should be [woocommerce_checkout]. The plugin works only with this shortcode.

It doesn’t work, but the tax code field should not be added to the checkout page but to the payment page where the customer enters the billing information, you need to add a field there for the tax code

    Hi @userweb

The plugin manages the checkout page, which includes the entire order finalization process. The payment module is also located on this page, but it’s important to emphasize that it is still the same checkout page.

I would like to clarify – in your store, are payments integrated directly on the checkout page, or are they processed on a separate page to which the customer is redirected? This is important to ensure we fully understand how your current system works and can tell you does the plugin can handle your scenario.

If the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode is not working in your store, I need to verify it. In this case, could you please report this issue through the official support channel for the plugin?

Hi, from what I see going to the WordPress pages, there are 2 different pages, one for Checkout and one where there is the form for entering data by the customer and it is in this that the field for the tax code should be added.
Going to the Checkout page and replacing [woocommerce_checkout] in place of [profilepress-checkout] I do not notice any differences.
I created a form with the field for the tax code via your plugin, but then applying the shortcode to the checkout page does not change anything.
From what I see the checkout page is separate from the one for entering billing data by the customer.

I need to review this directly on your store. Could you report this issue through the official support channel for the plugin?
