    Hi,
I am want to avoid to install extra plugins, so I wanted to ask this: can I add a footnote with Elementor? I have searched the whole Internet with no luck. Can you suggest me an extension (Elementor) that can do that?

    Thanks,
    Magda

    Hi,
Thank you for offering your help.

Unfortunately my site is on localhost, and before going live, I need to add a research paper with almost 30 citations.
I do not like the way other footnote plugins behave with my theme, so I am searching for a more delicate solution.
There’s the workaround of anchor links and creating manually the number of citation as a sup text, but as soon as you visit a footnote note, there’s no way to return back to the text.

Please, can you suggest something that can fix this issue for me?
    I am grateful,
    Magda

    Hi,

Currently, Elementor does not have this feature.

If you like, you can submit a Feature Request on Github, which is where we take feature requests.
You can submit them at https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/new/choose
which gives you the opportunity to follow the discussion about ideas you submit, and track development progress of any that get implemented.

You can learn more about how to submit requests at https://github.com/elementor/elementor/blob/master/.github/CONTRIBUTING.md
