add basic framework parent theme to ww.wp.xz.cn

I have a parent theme / starter theme system. Currently they’re both on GitHub, but I’d like the parent theme to be on ww.wp.xz.cn, so it can be updated easily on sites that use it. Even the starter theme doesn’t have too many styles and so on – it’s designed to be a bare-bones starting point. The starter isn’t ‘updatable’ – once it’s adapted for a project, it’s on it’s own. However, the whole idea is that the parent theme – which contains libraries which may need updating across a number of sites – is easily updatable.

However, the parent themes fails a huge amount of the theme repo checks.

Is the theme repo at ww.wp.xz.cn only for fully functioning out-of-the-box themes? And any set-up like the one I’m describing will necessitate a custom updating mechanism to update from GitHub or somewhere else?
