    Hi,

I am seeking better performance on my shared hosting website with the plugin. My host is on Apache platform – should I enable this feature for all my websites? Or is there a reason not to enable it???

Is a purge entire cache necessary to start this feature?

    Thanking you in advance.

    Hi @kpbryce132,
You can definitely enable this feature if you don’t already have a server rule for adding cache-control header for your static files. This option is something I mostly recommend people to turn on.

Also yes once you enable this option you need to purge the entire cache for it to take effect.

Thank you – I remember creating the .htaccess server rules early in the launch of our agency website. Obviously this make the browser cache feature in your plugin unnecessary and potentially problematic. But thank you for the support and the quick answer to my inquiry!
