Add custom block to footer

    Does Eksell support full site editing or blocks in the footer?

    I would like to add a simple text with a CTA button to the footer, but I can’t find a way to do it with Eksell because Widgets are not supported.

    Is there any way to add a custom block to the footer?

    Hi @collimarco,

    Eksell doesn’t have support for widgets or for Full Site Editing, and it’s unlikely that either will be added to the theme. It does have plenty of actions in the footer that can be used to add custom output in a child theme, if you’re comfortable with PHP, but there’s no user-friendly to do it, unfortunately.
