Add data to Data layer

Hello,

I’m very sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn’t find any straight answers.

My question is – is there a way to add data to the data layer?
I noticed that discount information is related to coupons and not if the product was on sale, is there a way to divide the price into a regular price and a discount price to the data layer?
