Add Description or Excerpt

Hi,
I’m trying to include a portion of the event description or an excerpt on the event listing screen to say a bit about what the event is about.
Is there a way to do this without html or additional coding?

For that, you need to override the event listing template file and you can find it from here.
If you do not know how to override the template file at the theme side then please have a look at the following documentation and you will get an idea.
