    Hi!

I’d like to add custom post types but if I click on that menu, the page is blank with no options. The Add Custom Taxonomy page works though. What can be wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Difficult to say cause it could be one of any reasons. If you’re seeing a pure white screen, I suspect a PHP error, for which we’d need to inspect any error logs. Possible that you got emailed about it, with more details, but that’s not guaranteed.

    Hi Michael,

I contacted the owner of the site. There’s no such PHP error log but they got a notification that there was an error updating nameservers. I can see, the domain is pending. Is it a possible reason for the plugin not working?

Until I know otherwise, I’m going to say it could be contributing for sure.

    Any news here @augiebenak ?

Sorry @tw2113 I did not come back here. I tried reinstalling the plugin but then I found, that on smaller plans (under Business) CPT UI can run into memory issues which can cause the error (blank page). I decided to go for another plugin and started using ACF.
Thanks for your help, anyway! I think, I can marked the question resolved.

    Have a nice day!

Very curious about memory issues, as we should be a pretty lightweight plugin all in all.

Gemini said that. I am surprised too, but I’m not a tech person and I needed a solution.
