Right now, there is no option for this. Simply because it would make the code way more complex and still only work in a few cases, because svg-structure often varies a lot. Just imagine a SVG with more than 1 element and color.
One possible fix, I think, would be to give option to define a fill-color per path class – still a bigger task (I would basically need to rebuild the plugin from scratch).
Bottom line: This feature will not be available within the next months. I think that iconfonts could be a better fit for your case.
