Add function/shortcode to Email templates content

Hello
Thank you for this great plugin.
Is it possible to add a function or a shortcode to the content of an email template
For example
“Hi {client_name}” will be “myfunction(“hi”) {client_name}”
or “Hi {client_name}” will be “[myshortcode text=”Hi”]: {client_name}”
