Hello. Great plug-in!!! There is a question. How to add information about the user’s IP when authorizing on the site, so that the IP is displayed in the notification?

And one more question. How can I make the notification go to both the administrator and the user at the same time? In the settings there is a choice – the administrator and + each user, but it’s not too convenient to create such a chain. It is possible as that it to issue one function – to send both to the administrator and the user?

    Hi @nikonn!

    Thank you very much!

So you are using the “User logged in” trigger, am I right? I can add that merge tag but I’ll need to know which trigger you use 🙂

Regarding the second question – you can do that without any problem, but within the email recipients setting. You can add an administrator recipient and email / merge tag recipient and use the user’s email merge tag.

That should do. But if you want to have a single recipient that resolved to the admin and user email, that will require to add a custom recipient.

Hello. You all understood correctly. I’m using the “user logon” trigger. I would like to be displayed in the notification of the user’s IP, this is due to the fact that the site has paid access to the content and to prevent abuse of the user’s login for his friends.

In the second question, I meant that when creating a recipient for a message, I was able to select the administrator and all users, and not add each user (there are about 100 of them).

If suddenly you do not understand my thoughts because of the difficulties of translation, let me know, I’ll try to state the essence differently.

    Thank you.

    Got it!

I’ll add the IP merge tag for you.

To target all users, the easiest way is to set up the Role recipient, you only have few if them.

But do you really want to send a notification to all users everytime someone logs in? If 10 users will log in and you will have 100 recipients that’s 1000 emails. You may hit your host’s limit.

I did not think about hosting performance !!!! Most likely it is necessary to leave the notice only for the administrator – this will be the right decision – on my part.

Thanks for the clarification, really – did not think about hosting!

Tell me how to add a IP to a message?

Hi @nikonn, the new version should be available in a minute! You can update and give it a try. The new Merge Tag is user_IP
