It would be very helpful if the Schema plugin could include an initial setup wizard (or guided onboarding) that runs when the plugin is first activated. This would allow users to quickly configure the most important basic schema settings without needing to explore multiple pages or documentation.

For example, the setup could include steps such as:

    • Configuring essential options (site type, organization/person info, logo(if not set in wp settings), social profiles, etc.)
    • Explaining key schema features briefly (e.g., default schema types, structured data options)
    • Saving a minimal working configuration so the schema is functional right away and starts outputting valid structured data

This would improve the user experience, reduce setup time, and make the plugin easier to adopt for beginners as well as advanced users.

Thank you for considering this feature!

    Hi CodeInitiator,

Thank you so much for the detailed suggestion! 🙌

We completely agree that an initial setup wizard (guided onboarding) would make the Schema plugin much more user-friendly — especially for beginners who want to get up and running quickly without digging through multiple settings pages.

This would definitely streamline the onboarding process, reduce setup time, and provide immediate value after activation.

We’ve added this request to our roadmap, and we’ll be exploring the best way to implement a smooth setup wizard. In the meantime, please keep sharing ideas — real-world feedback like yours helps us prioritize the most impactful improvements.

    Thanks again for contributing! 🚀
