The truth is not resolved. At times he behaves well and at times he replaces part of the logo. On the other hand I still do not know if there is a way for the top bar info to adjust to the internal 1170 px container.
I think your JavaScript code (refining the body’s top padding) should be tied to the window’s “onresize” event to get always a correct height during changes of the window’s width.
But the main reason is the fixed position of the header (containing the logo and the main navigation). Why not to refine also its distance from the body’s top border dynamically?
The easiest and quickest solution is to place the fixed contact bar at the bottom of the page.
