Add language not working

    Hello,
    I want to add a custom language in the general settings but nothing is happening after clicking on the “Add language” button. No error message but nothing else is changed. I have all plugins disbled, except WP-Multilang. I use for testing also the standard WordPress theme “Twinty Seventeen”.
    I test it on a local virtual webserver (Oracle Virtual Box).

    Hi.
    Custom language use for adding locales, what are not available in WordPress. After addin new locale You need save settings.

    Hello,
    Sorry, I don’t understand what you mean by “adding locales”?
    I have retry it, even with adding more languages to my WordPress website with the WP Multilanguage plugin disabled, and after adding more languages and enabling WP Multilanguage, there rest only 1 language active and it is the first language en-US.
    I can’t add new custom languages at all.
    My test website is standard WordPress Version 4.8.2 with no extra plugins enabled.
    It seems very hard to add new custom languages or what do I wrong?

    Can You make screenshot with yours multilingual settings from admin panel?

    This is working for me, when adding a new language from:
    wp-admin/options-general.php
    Hope you can get it running…

    Hi,
    See the first screenshot for the local languages that I have added (with the WP Multilang disbled). See on: https://prnt.sc/gvbj1y
    With your WP Multilanguage plugin enabled, it’s not possible for my to add any languages.
    Then see the second screenshot where you can see that I only can select one standard language. There is no notice elsewhere on the screen that indicate that I have more languages to select etc. See on: https://prnt.sc/gvbm6w
    Hopefully this can help you to look furtheron…?

    Try reinstall plugin with deleting all WP Multilang options from database. Its options starts from wpm_.

    Alright!!! That’s it! 🙂
    Yes, by disabling, uninstalling or deleting completly the WP Multilang plugin and reinstalling and activating again, now I see all my added languages and it’s also working to add new languages either! See the new screenshot at: https://prnt.sc/gvccjd
    Now, I will try all the rest of this WP Multilang plugin.
