Add map button is not showing

    I’m using wp google maps version 7.10.43 and I can’t seem to find the add map button. I’ve used this plugin before with no issue, it started when I noticed on the site that the map is not loading and when I checked on the plugin My Map settings the map entry is gone and the button to add one is not showing.

    I’m having the same problem on one of my sites as well. There are no JS errors being reported in the developer console.

    I felt silly that I didn’t try this first, but simply reinstalling the plugin resolved the issue for me.

    Good thing that fix works for you. That’s the first thing I’ve done to fix the issue, tried also to disable the other plugins installed but no luck. Like you said there are no errors on the dev console so I’m having a hard time tracking where the issue is coming from.

    Hi there

    Our apologies for the delay in responding to this thread, sorry about that!

    This issue can be due to the database user on your site having insufficient privileges to create the initial map.

    If you go to your cPanel and elevate the permissions of your database user, then deactivate and re-activate the plugin, you should find that the map will initialise.
