• I am working on my first wordpress site and so far, all was well. However, I installed a plugin that would list all posts in one category automatically in my main menu [ redundant link removed ]. That didn’t work, so I deactivated it.
I’m not 100% about the causality here, but my ‘Add menu items’-bar is now frozen when I try to add new items to my existing menu. The rest of the functions are still working properly; I can even add a new item, but the only item available is the language switcher’. All the drop down menu’s under ‘Add menu items’ (pages, posts, custom links, categories) are frozen. I tried updating my wordpress version, and I tried the default theme, but the issue is still there.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issues are greatly appreciated!

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Thanks James! Troubleshooting mode makes the issue disappear, so I will look into the enabled plugins 🙂

*edit: problem solved, had to do with a woocommerce extension. Thanks again!
