When I look at the menu in the German version, there is no “Edit”, no “Add new”. It basically starts with “keywords”, then “categories”, then “locations”. In German of course.
Do you know what I mean? I’d love to include a screenshot here. I bet I’m just doing something wrong.

Which version of WordPress are you using? The screenshot looks like it could be a very old version.
Well, the screenshot is probably very old. It’s not my screenshot. On it is the “add new” button I am missing in my menu though.
I am using the latest wordpress version (4.2.3, see right tab) and I would provide a screenshot of the menu here, if possible. Don’t know how though. The “Add new” button is missing. There should be one, right? Or am I just imagining this?
There should definitley be an Add New link.
This could be a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
