• Not actually sure which version my site uses,it was set up for me.
    This was before a computer virus, so I lost access to admin to my site, amongst oither things.

    Having request new password, got into the Dashboard, But can’t find Add new post tab, to add new content

    Where is the Editor within the Dashboard, online at ww.wp.xz.cn?

    Can Anyone Help Please
    Graham

    That’s all there is, No signs of Add new post or Sub Menu

    Do you have a menu on the left-hand side?

    Yes I have a Left menu, But there’s Not a lot on it.
    Although it list a number of posts, there No Ad or New Post Link anywhere

    Yes have link to my Profile, although there’s not a lot there I can alter
    there

    Then it sounds like you only have Subscriber status instead of full Admin status. Using Phpmyadmin (or another MySQL management tool), first backup your database. Then navigate to your wp_usermeta table and locate the meta_key called “wp_capabilities” for your user_id. Change the meta-value for this record to:

    a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}
