Add-ons disabling themselves

On at least 2 websites on which I have enabled Country Blocking and Gravity Forms add-ons (unlimited license), I’ve logged in to find them disabled with messages like this:
wp-bruiser-countryblocking-2/wp-bruiser-countryblocking.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

The odd thing is the ‘2’ in the folder name, as indeed, it does not exist.

I reactivated the deactivated plugins and back to normal.

What is going on here?
