• wordpress newbie- started a website to chronicle an upcoming expedition across the Sahara. We have posts on another blog site from a trip last year across India that we want to add to a subpage of the new site. That is, you would have to click on child page “India” and then the posts would be there, but not appear on the main page posting area. Is this possible? Using theme WP-Scribely.

  • You can use custom menu to add sub posts

OK- sorry, but how? There does not seem to be a way to post to a different page than the main post. The only thing I seem to be able to change/add is the post date, which will push the post down if I back date, but it still appears in the main post list. I want a separate post list on a sub page.

    thanks!

    Create a category for India
assign your posts to that category
Using custom menu you can add what ever you want posts pages and category or custom links,
    click on Appearance>>>>Menus
you can click on my name for example. You will see how I have created sub menu for each category and posts as sub menu.
