Add product features

    Hello,
    I am creating an e-shop that will also integrate classified ads. I would like toknow if it’s possible and how, to add product features on top of product categories.
    Let me explain:
    A user uploads an ad to sell a T-shirt. She will choose the correspondent category and subcategories, like: Fashion>Women>Tops>T-shirts
    On top of that I would like the users to be able to tag/map the products by choosing a product feature like Size, Color, Material, Brand or something else.
    How is it possible to do that?

    Second question is about vendor info: currently the name and email of the vendor are required but I don’t want the email to be publicly visible, for obvious reasons. How can we hide that?

    Hi,
    1. so basically you would like to have different fields for different categories?

    If so then you can do that with the Custom Fields extension and the Preselect Ad Category snippet https://github.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/blob/master/preselect-ad-category/preselect-ad-category.php

    How to install the snippet you can read here https://github.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/ at the bottom of the page.

    Once you have it installed and activated you can go to wp-admin / Classifieds / Categories panel, edit each category and assign a form scheme (created using Custom Fields extension) to a category.

    When a user will visit a page with [adverts_add] shortcode he will need to select a category first and then a form assigned to this category will load.

    2. from wp-admin / Classifieds / Options panel you can enable the contact form module, then a contact form will show instead of “show contact information” box.
