Its not giving magnifying glass and expand effects .Also very hard to move and reduce the saiz

No ..Only magnifying glass appear .Once click the icon expand to search box like this wordpress has on their right side.

Having the exact same problem – would like to add the search function as the search icon (magnifying glass). Can add the search icon, but cannot link it to a search function.
The plugin suggested above seems to add a search bar, not a search icon which when clicked releases a search bar.
