    Wonderful plugin you have here. Has been able to solve all my problems except for one.

    When adding places, I want the admin to be able to give a star rating for the place he or she is adding. That star rating will then show on the listing page. How can I add a star rating field in the Add listing form and make it show on the frontend?

    For context, I am building a website for a Mystery Toilet Inspector. Mystery Toilet Inspector helps you locate and rate public restrooms based on cleanliness, amenities, and accessibility.

    Hello,

    GD doesn’t have a star rating field because all of the rating widgets and sorting options rely on the rating system GD adds to comments. It is built into GD and will show up automatically on the listing page, in the comment section, as long as the listing has discussion enabled.

    As soon as your author submits the listing, make sure they follow up to add a rating – that’s exactly how they can influence the overall rating for that listing, and then others who rate the listing, their ratings will all work together to form the overall rating.

    The GD Widget called GD Post Rating can then display that dynamic rating data in the GD archive item or on the GD Details listing single.
