    Hello,

I made a child theme of Twenty Seventeen. I would like to put a widget / shortcode in the header with CSS so that my widget will be positioned on the right side of the site-branding.

Obviously my CSS skills at this point are limited and have been having quite the difficult time here figuring it out.

    My dev site:
    http://development.phasemod.com/wpgh/

Site I am “attempting” to emulate so booking search is in header:
    https://hotelwp.com/themes/adomus/demo-3/

    Thanks!

    To add to this,

I think what I am looking for is to put the “site-branding”/”logo” in a left hand column and the booking search in a left hand column. Can I make columns in the header?

I can get the booking search to be next to the logo but it is not clickable I am assuming because the site-branding is a full width row.

    Thanks
