Add Wildcards support?

Hi i was wondering if it’s possible to add wildcards support.
By this i mean the * (asterisk) wildcard that represents anything.

For example i want to remove all my alt and title tags, so i want to find:
title=”*” and replace with title=””
alt=”*” and replace with alt=””

I think it will be a pretty neat feature to have.

PS: I wish i know SQL.
