• This notice comes up so much that it causes Elementor builder to not load properly. When I enter the builder, the widget menu, where I can add and edit additional elements, will be stuck loading forever. Only by disabling Visibility Logic for Elementor will the widget menu finish loading so I can edit pages.

Here is the notice I am seeing:

Notice: Function Elementor\Controls_Manager::add_control_to_stack was called incorrectly. Cannot redeclare control with same name "sticky_effects_offset". Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 1.0.0.) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114

I have searched Visibility Logic for Elementor, but haven’t found where the sticky_effects_offset exists, so I’m not sure how to patch this error.

  • Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

In regards to the query here, I do not think that notice is coming from the Visibility Logic For Elementor plugin as the plugin does not provide a “sticky_effects_offset”, which by that notice it seems that “sticky_effects_offset” is being declared more than once hence the notice. It is possible that another plugin could be causing this or even a theme. However, could you kindly send us your system info. You can find it in under Elementor → System info. Please use Pastebin to paste it and send it to us.

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards
