AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

Hello, I have been having issues after installing with non UTF-8 supported characters appearing on our site at times.

I did some research and the following is indeed added to the .htaccess file in the cache folder “AddDefaultCharset UTF-8”. I even added it to the root .htaccess file of our staging directory where the site lives.

We are still seeing intermittent issues with the character coming up.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance – I have to resolve this before I can proceed with deployment to our live site.
