I have added this code to homepage.php code, but my slider is not displaying. A white bar is displaying where the slider should be.

Your theme is adding the jquery 2nd time or double loading it using the non-standard WordPress practise.

Remove the code below from your theme’s header.php file and it’ll fix the issue.
