Added Registration Fields – Now what?

    Ok, I’ve easily added custom registration fields: name, address, company, etc. This creates a profile for my users. How does the user or anyone now view their profile and edit when necessary? I’ve verified that the meta data is going into the database. Maybe the Profiles Extension? It’s not clear what exactly that extension does…

    By default, you view your WP profile at yoursite.com/wp-admin/profile.php. However, you would need to add more custom code to get your new fields to show up there, using the show_user_profile hook.

    The Profiles extension simply takes that experience and puts it on the “front-end”, within your theme, much like TML does with the login-related actions.
