Hello All, I am planning to add 4 TB HD into my web server. Currently,my WP site is locate at C drive. Medial library is set under C:/ mysite.com/wp-content/uploads. The additional 4 TB drive will be “E”. I have limited space on C drive. Is there a way that I can make “uploads” folder also include “E” drive. in the near future, I can also upload files on E drive if C drive is full? Any helps will be very much appreciated! Thank you

  • So if you go to http://example.com/wp-admin/options.php you get a huge page of options. If you scroll down and find the ‘upload_path’ option you can enter in a custom directory for the uploads. You may also need to update the ‘upload_url_path.’ The problem may be making that other drive available to the server. And I am not sure exactly what kinda of path you will need to supply. Anyway those two options are a good place to start. You may be looking at a slightly more complicated solution however.
