Adding a custom checkbox below

There is no specific hook for this, since this is a standard feature of WordPress provided by the hook “comment_form_default_fields”. Also see https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/reference/hooks/comment_form_default_fields/. You can add a field by adding it to the $fields array:

$fields['my-checkbox'] = '<p class="my-checkbox"><label for="my-checkbox"><input id="my-checkbox" name="my-checkbox" type="checkbox" value="yes">some label</label></p>';

The same filter is already used by the plugin to add the additional checkbox about e-mail notifications – also see https://codeberg.org/askaaron/comment-reply-email-notification/src/tag/1.37.0/classes/CommentReplyEmailNotification.php#L395-L409.

Also keep in mind, that you need to process the field in the “process_comment” hook: https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/reference/hooks/preprocess_comment/
