• Hi,

I need to create a gallery on one of the pages of my blog (“portfolio”) and I was wondering if I can do so. Alternatively, is it possible to integrate a different service (i.e. flickr) into this *single* page on my blog? Is there a good plugin for that?

    Any suggestions? Likes showing samples?
    Thanks!

  • There is a built-in wordpress functionality that will allow you to create a gallery on a post or a page. Check out the codex for instructions. Youtube also has some videos on the subject. There are also plugins that will allow you to integrate flickr and photobucket type services. You just need to search for them in the themes section.

This isn’t quite what I expected to see given the title of your post. You might want to change the title! Having a different theme for a single page is a little different of a subject than setting up a gallery page 🙂

I am looking for an answer to this question. How do you add a different theme for a page?

You’d have to create new custom headers and footers then a custom template page to call from the admin panel. In other words, when you go to create a page, you’d select the new custom template you’d created with the new headers and footers.
