• Hi,
    right now I am working on a Theme and ran into a dead end.
    I am trying to add a imprint site. The imprint should be available after installing the theme (with link in the footer) and will be custimizable through the theme customizer.

    I just don’t get the trick to add the site (right now I am a bit in doubt if this is even possible, without risking the security of the database, as the Theme would need to accecs the SQL database).
    I would be happy for any suggestions, as my googlefu seems to be weak today :D.

    The point about this, is to provide the User an easy way to get a specific imprint, by just entering some data in the customizer and checking boxes (e.g. if they are using google analytics).

    What exactly do you mean by imprint? Is this a simple query to ask how to add a line of customisable text in your footer?

    No,
    in german its called “Impressum”, thought imprint was the english synonym for that. Seems to be that “legal informations” is more common?
    I ment a page with all the declarations you need in Germany if you are using google adsense, analytics etc.
    Something like this -> http://www.uni-freiburg.de/legal-info.html
