I wasn’t able to reproduce that; can you temporarily switch to one of the default themes and disable all your plugins, and see if it breaks then?
If it doesn’t, then you can turn your plugins back on one by one to figure out which one is causing the conflict.
Thanks for the help. WP External Links was the culprit (version 1.55), so I deactivated it
