    Hi

Is there a way to add a shortcode within the form?

I have a phone number validation plugin that comes with a shortcode (just 1 field), I hope to add that field into the form as fluentform has no phone# validation feature (OTP).

I tried HTML Code input but doesnt seem working.

    Please kindly advise.

    Thank you

  • Hi @futureyoon,

You can add a shortcode within a form using the shortcode field. Check our documentation here: https://wpmanageninja.com/docs/fluent-form/field-types/shortcode/

    Thank you!

oh I realized that the shortcodes feature is available in normal form but not in conversational form.

    then the question should be

How do I add shortcodes into the conversational form? Is there a way doing it? Any document would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi there,

The shortcode field isn’t currently available in conversational form. We will consider adding it in the future updates if possible.

Conversational forms are rendered using JS, so adding a shortcode directly in the custom HTML field won’t work either. There isn’t currently any way to add a shortcode to a conversational form.

    Thank you!
