Hi, I want to have a field (or button) on my blog that allows readers to subscribe. After installing MailPoet, such a field shows up to gather name and email, but it requires posting a comment. How do I divorce that “subscribe” field from commenting? (or add a separate subcribe field that is independent of commenting field?). Thank you for help. I have read in the FAQ but not found any help. Tobias Baskin

    Hi @baskin2023,

As I understand, you don’t want to show the opt-in checkbox to allow visitors on your website to subscribe to your newsletters from the Comments section. Is that correct?

In this case, you should go to the MailPoet > Settings > Basics tab and disable the option “Subscribe in comments”.

It’s not possible to have a button that will trigger a pop-up form, but you can create a MailPoet pop-up form to be automatically displayed on your website according to the delay time you want. For reference: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/363-how-to-create-a-pop-up-slider-form
