i found our admin page but my password doesn’t work. Thought it would be reset to the password of my wordpress account. But that hasn’t worked!

Note that user accounts here are totally separate from WordPress.COM user accounts.

So i need to have my friend give me the password with which she set up that account? I think she forgot it. Have written to her and will see if she can reset/recover. If she can’t, what then? It’s not exactly a $-making or prestigious site. Just for composting. . . non-profit etc.
She and I are both identifiable. Can wordpress help if she doesn’t find the password?
We here at ww.wp.xz.cn cannot help with anything on WP.COM site – it’s totally separate (in this way). If nothing else works, make a new user account there and ask on their forums.
