Adding another footer widget

Is there any way to add one more widget to the front page? I currently have all three used that are default with the Sela theme but would like to add one more in the row if possible? I don’t know if that means I have to change the template to a grid page? I have tried it but it is not working right for what I want. My site is private right now but i can make it public if needed.
