We would be glad to assist with this issue. What version of RPS Image Gallery were you using prior to the update?

I can’t say I remember. It says I am using Version 1.2.19 now – so what ever was prior to that.

You should be able to modify the gallery shortcode to include the caption argument and set it to true like so:

    [gallery caption="true"]

In order to see the shortcode, you will need to switch to the “Text” tab in the post editor. You can see a complete list of arguments for the gallery shortcode by visiting the FAQ page. Let us know if you need further assistance.

If I have more than one gallery on a page – will I need to add the shortcode to each gallery? Or is their a way I can edit the code so it applies to all gallery’s?

Currently the only way is to add it to each gallery shortcode. We do have plans to include an option for setting defaults in a future release. Thanks for using RPS Image Gallery and let us know if you need anything else.
