Adding Capture amount to metadata

    Hi there,

    At the minute, our client exports a daily report. As well as the order total, they also usually report the authorised amount and captured amount.

    Is there a way to add these as exportable metadata to the order using a custom function?

    Hi @robbidb,

    There are several ways you can accomplish what you’re after. You can use the actions provided by WooCommerce or the Stripe plugin’s actions to save your own custom order data that you can export. I am not sure if you’re using a custom report or some plugin to provide your report so that affects the answer.

    The captured amount is whatever the order total is after you perform the capture and the authorized amount is whatever the order amount was before the capture.
