Adding Custom Account Tab Section with Custom PHP / JQUERY Content

I’m trying to add some custom PHP content and JQuery coding to a custom tab in the account section. I can get the custom PHP content to show correctly, but I can’t get the JQuery to work. Is there another place I should be adding my JQuery code to? Thanks in advance.
