We originally only had the Cookie Policy and Privacy Statement pages set up as documents but we just added a Disclaimer page but it doesn’t show up as read more URLs under the buttons with the others. Is there a step we are missing? I believe I am following your guide here.

Also, is there a way to change the text of this link to say Terms of Use instead of Disclaimer? I don’t see this as an option in the text settings. I would just link in the main text field but then they can’t read it without accepting the cookie options first, like they can if they click the links at the bottom.

“Terms of Use” isn’t one of the options, but I feel like that would be a normal document people would want to link to.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I added the Terms of Use as the “Imprint” document, which correctly assigned the name and added the link under the buttons with the other document links (screenshot of this working). However, the cookie policy page is the only one that is viewable without the pop-up/cookie wall, despite all being added in the same way. The only difference is that the Cookie policy page is generated with the plugin, and the rest are static pages.

Is there a way to allow people to view the other document pages without requiring them to opt in or out first?

Screenshot of this issue on the Terms of Use page. To replicate this, go to https://truecare.org/, click the terms of use or privacy policy links at the bottom of the cookie pop-up. Then you will see the pop-up over these pages. If you do the same thing but click on the cookie policy link, you will see the document page without the pop-up. How can I get this behavior for the other document pages?

    Hello @mattenser ,

    Thank you for reaching out.
I’m glad to hear you managed to solve the issue with the Terms of Use page.

The reason why the banner doesn’t appear on the Cookie Policy page is that the selectable consent categories of the banner are already being loaded, so reloading the banner again would be redundant. For this reason, it isn’t shown there. The same applies to our premium generated documents (such as the Privacy Statement): since they don’t load categories either, the banner will still be displayed on them, just as it happens in your case.

If you prefer not to have the banner show up on specific pages, you can actively hide it by following the instructions on this page: https://complianz.io/excluding-pages-from-the-cookie-banner/. This way, the banner’s JavaScript won’t load on the pages you choose.

I hope this clarifies your doubts.

    Best regards,
    Antonio

    Hello @antoiub

Thank you for the reply that is what I was missing. I didn’t see that we could hide the Complianz pop-up on specific pages, but that solves the problem, thank you.
