Adding flags horizontally on the top menu

Hi!

I am using Qtranslate-x with The7 theme, and everything was sweet so far.

Now I’m trying to put the language switcher on the top-bar by using a dedicated menu and custom links to point to the two languages (let’s say http://www.test.it/it and http://www.test.it/en), but the links don’t work and it never switches from one to the other language. It always keeps either the english or the italian.

Ideas? Thank you!
