adding full content posts to homepage

    I need to use a static homepage but would like to display posts based on a category onto my homepage in a widget or other method. I use Aperture theme full width page. I can insert a Recent Posts widget onto the page or, using a plugin, insert a shortcode to pull in all posts by category. BUT it only shows the titles of the post using either method. How can I show full content of the posts?

    There are a number of plugins that will allow you to display posts by category.

    I’ve used List Category Posts for doing exactly that.

    Right. Thanks for your response. But you’ve basically told me to do what I already said I tried to do. I’m using the plugin called “list category posts”. I can insert the shortcode for a given category anywhere I want but the page only displays the title of the post. How do I get it to display the entire contents?
