When managing an album, all the galleries in the album are stated to contain 0 images when obviously they do have images and the images show when the album is used.
Further to one of my other threads, installing the change to allow ‘Nextgen’ to be reinstated as a dashboard option, the old album selection method is available.
A real pity that the best way to use this otherwise excellent plugin is to revert to the previous methods.
The zero count of images when managing albums continues in 4.1.0.
The count is OK when the album is displayed on a page.
The zero image count is solved in 4.1.2

You’re correct that the issue with albums showing 0 in the included galleries image counter has been fixed recently.
I understand how the lack of a search functionality when viewing gallery images, especially with long image names that start the same, can be frustrating. I’ve added these requests to our feature request list for the team’s review.
