Adding Headlines from just one category

Well uhhh… basically I’m new to the whole word press thing. I’m not an expert in php, just know the REALLY basic including stuff.

I was wondering, is there some way to include the headlines from my blog on a static/non wordpress page, but do it from ONLY one category?

I was originally going to use the miniloop method:

but I can’t seem to specify how to get a miniloop from A single category of my choice.

Is there some code/way to do this? Help will be VERY appreciated 🙂
