I feel like a bit of a fool asking this, but I’ve looked and looked and searched and searched but I can’t figure this out.

I imported from Excel 2013, and the links I had disappeared. The text is still there, but no attached hyperlink. Is there a way to import a table with hyperlinks and have them remain in the table? Or do I need to hit insert link and reattach each hyperlink?

    Thanks for your help. `

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The problem here is that the internal formats in Excel and TablePress (which is HTML) differ, and that the current experimental Excel import does not yet support importing links.
Your best chance might therefore be to save the table as HTML and then try to import that.

    Other ideas are:
    – If your links are just URLs (i.e. the URL is also the link text), you could use the TablePress Extension from http://tablepress.org/extensions/automatic-url-conversion/
    – Or, if you have some real link text, you might try to use an Excel macro to automatically create the HTML code, see http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/hyperlinks-in-cells?replies=6#post-4710730

If that does not help, you’ll have to re-create the links in TablePress. Sorry 🙁

    Regards,
    Tobias
