adding line break to email notifications

Hi, this is a pretty minor problem, but, I can’t seem to find a solution that works all the time. Also, every time I update the software it seems to reset and ignore my formatting. What I am looking for when I get my statistics emailed is:

Online Users: 1
Today’s Visitors: 60
Today’s Visits: 102
Yesterday’s Visitors: 119
Yesterday’s Visits: 164
Monthly Visitors: 698
Monthly Visits: 3593
Past Year Visitors: 7,442
Past Year Visits: 101,858
Total Visitors: 15,247
Total Visits: 196,008

After some research and contacting the developer previously, I believe the following codes may work: <br /> <p> </p> \r\n However, nothing seems to work and I get the following type of formatting no matter what code I use:
