Adding Location with custom attribute while setting location for new event

Here is what I am trying to achieve. I am using the Events Manager plugin as an itinerary for a clients website who is a church evangelist. In the general settings for location I was able to add a custom attribute #_LATT{Pastor} to store the pastors name of the church where he will be at. This works when adding new locations, but I cannot see the custom location attribute while adding a new event with a new location. Anybody have any ideas how to accomplish this?
